Getting started

Everything you need to log in, set up your roster, and open the kiosk for the first time.

New here? Sign up first — you'll be emailed a temporary password, then use that to log in below.
  1. 1

Log in with your temporary password

Go to the page and sign in with your email and the temporary password emailed to you. On first login, you'll be prompted to set a new permanent password. Either way, you'll land on "Where would you like to go?" — choose Go to dashboard to continue here (you can always pick Open kiosk from that same screen instead).

  2. 2

    Explore your dashboard

The dashboard is an app that runs right in your browser — no install needed, four tabs across the top. Live roster shows who's checked in right now. History covers today's activity, with a link through to Long-term history for any date range plus CSV/XLSX export and correcting a mistaken check-in or check-out time. Students (manager-only) lists your whole roster with sort, filter, color-coded tags, and birthday badges, plus a + Add / Import button for adding students one at a time or in bulk. Admin (also manager-only) is where you manage staff logins and billing.

  3. 3

Open "Add / Import" on the Students tab

From the Staff Dashboard, open the Students tab and click + Add / Import (visible to managers only).

  4. 4

    Upload your student list

Use the bulk import tool to upload a CSV or XLSX file of your roster. Here's what the format looks like:

    First NameMiddle NameLast NameGradeNotes
    AlexKim5
    JordanMarieLee3
    SamPatel7Allergic to peanuts
    TaylorAnnChenKindergarten
    MorganDiaz2New student - Aug 2026

Middle name and notes are optional. Swap in your own students, then upload the file the same way.

    • Only check "Replace the entire roster" if you want to delete the current roster and start fresh — this cannot be undone.
    • Click Import to finish.
Using Kumon? Here's how to export your roster from K-SIS
    1. Go to the K-SIS main page.
    2. Under "Export to Excel," click Student Profile.
    3. In the Description box, type something simple like "Student list."
    4. Set Subject to All Subjects.
    5. Under the ST1 choices, check every box except D.
    6. Click Save at the top of the screen, then click Submit right next to it.
    7. Go back to the main page and click Report Request History.
    8. Find your export request — it may take a few minutes to finish — select it, then click Open at the top of the screen.
    9. Click the green Download button and save the file as an XLSX file.
    10. Open that file in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and rearrange the columns to match the sample format above.
  5. 5

    Access the kiosk

From the dashboard, click Open kiosk — or sign in again from the page and choose Open kiosk there instead.

  6. 6

Using the kiosk at your center

The kiosk is also just an app that runs in your browser — no install needed. Set up any tablet or laptop at your front desk with the kiosk page open. Students type a few letters of their name, tap their name from the results, then tap Check In or Check Out — no PINs or cards needed. Every student also has a unique student number, so they can search by number instead of name if they'd rather.

Staff can sign out of the kiosk with the Logout button and sign back in to continue.
