Birthday reminders

Add a student's birthday once, and SwiftCheck quietly reminds your staff when it's coming up — no extra setup, nothing to check manually.

  1. 1

    Add a birthday

Open a student from the Students tab and set Birthday — just the month and day. No year, ever — SwiftCheck doesn't need it and doesn't ask.

  2. 2

    That's it

Save, and you're done. SwiftCheck starts watching automatically — there's nothing to renew or re-enter next year.

What your staff will see

What that check-in celebration looks like:

🎉 Happy Birthday, Alex! 🎂

Quick answers

Do I need to enter a birth year?

No. Only the month and day are collected — SwiftCheck never asks for or stores a year.

Where do the badges show up?

The Students tab and Live Roster. They don't appear in History.

What if I'd rather not track a student's birthday?

Just leave the field blank — it's entirely optional and nothing else about that student's record is affected.

Does the celebration show at checkout too?

No — only on check-in, since that's the moment the student is actually looking at the screen.

Can students or parents see the badges on the dashboard?

No — the gift and cake badges are staff-only, on the dashboard. The check-in celebration is the one thing the student themselves sees, on the kiosk.

Ready to make someone's day?

Add a birthday from the Students tab — it takes about ten seconds per student.
